Who would actually work my case?
Seven people, all in Columbia: a licensed CPA and principal owner, a second CPA, an Enrolled Agent with an LLM in Taxation, a tax resolution manager, a tax consultant, a scheduling associate and two client intake specialists. You can see all of them by name before you call.

That matters more than it sounds. The tax-relief industry is full of national outfits where the person who signs you up is never the person who works the case, and frequently is not licensed at all. Here the case is worked by the people on that page.
Do you serve Howard County and the surrounding area?
Yes. Columbia is in Howard County, between Baltimore and Washington, and much of the practice comes from the surrounding corridor — Ellicott City, Elkridge, Laurel, Jessup, Savage, Fulton and Clarksville, plus Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties.

The work does not change with the postcode. What changes is that you can drive here.
Do you handle Maryland state tax as well as the IRS?
Both, in the same engagement. State balances go directly to the Comptroller of Maryland alongside the federal case, rather than one being resolved and the other left to surface later.
Being local means the state side is handled here too. We deal with the Comptroller of Maryland directly on state balances alongside the IRS case — see Maryland tax resolution for how the two fit together.

The free 15-minute review is the same conversation either way. If you would rather have it across a desk, say so when you book and we will put you in the diary.
Bring the notices. If you have no records at all, bring that — it is a more common starting point than you would think.
